Call more lenders and compare interest rates
Buy something less expensive
Be more real about the amount I want to pay monthly
Take more time to choose a realtor and vet them more thoroughly (a huge reason we created Docs Housing!)
Ask what loan programs I qualify for
Avoid buying a condo because of the monthly fees. Despite amenities, condo fees are a lot of money
Consider not escrowing taxes and insurance and ask about paying them on my own to avoid additional fees or monies paid to a lender for them to pay on my behalf and maintain the escrow account
